Wine on Vesuvius beats the usual tour. This is a small, family-run-style visit around Vesuvius that mixes vineyard walking, a look at a three-wine tasting in a volcanic setting, and food you can actually snack on. You start at the…
A volcanic city ruin and great wine, in one afternoon. This Pompeii small-group tour pairs an archaeologist-led walkthrough with a stop at a vineyard on Mt. Vesuvius, including lunch and tastings. It’s built for comfort too, with an air-conditioned vehicle—handy…
Three sites. One volcanic story. This full-day route turns the 79 AD eruption of Mount Vesuvius into a real place you can look at, then compare with what survived beneath ash. You get skip-the-line access to all three stops, plus…
Vesuvius and Herculaneum in one day? That’s the pull. This tour lines up two of Campania’s biggest “how did they build and survive here?” stories: the Herculaneum ruins (the Roman town buried after the disaster) and a guided Vesuvius crater…
Vesuvius and Pompeii in one day. This tour works because it strings together Pompeii’s UNESCO ruins and the volcano that caused it, plus it adds a viewpoint stop where you can actually see what the ancient world looked like. I…
Vesuvius makes everything taste better. This Sorrento pizza class pairs hands-on Neapolitan dough work with a view that keeps pulling your eyes up from the counter. I like that it is truly small, and I like the mix of cooking…
Pompeii plus Herculaneum in one day is the big draw. I like how this tour gives you licensed English guides at both ruins, then swaps in a Vesuvius National Park hike for wide-open views. It also runs with a private-group…
If you like your Italy with a little motion, this one fits. This scenic horseback ride on Mt. Vesuvius pairs vineyard views with a wine tasting and lunch, all in one tight 4-hour outing. You start near Pompeii, saddle up…

Pompeii gets easier when someone maps it for you. This exclusive day is built around skip-the-line entry and a private guide so you see the real highlights without feeling like you’re fighting the crowd. The best part is how the…
This combo day is built for people who hate wasting hours. I love that you get round-trip private hotel transport from Sorrento, and the morning includes a Pompeii licensed guide who helps you pick out what matters in a massive…
Pompeii hits hard in real life. This day trip from Naples Port pairs an uphill climb to Mt. Vesuvius with a self-paced Pompeii walk using an audioguide. I like the fact you get comfortable, scheduled transport with AC and enough…
Sunset on Vesuvius feels like a short race. I like the convenient Pompeii transfer and the skip-the-line ticket arrangement, because they remove two common time sinks. The possible downside: your free time near the top can be tight, and there…
Two ruins, one volcanic day. Pompeii gives you 2,000 years of frozen street life, then Vesuvius rewards your legs with Bay of Naples views from the crater area. It’s a full-day hit of history plus scenery, with a guide keeping…
